A way of life for all us Toffees
I was living in a public house in Liverpool only 250 yrds from the holy ground aka Goodison Park during the 60's. My first game was in Sept 1957 and I have been hooked ever since. Being an Everton supporter is a way of life for all us Toffees. Both my children although not born in Liverpool are also followers. I guess it's not a religion it's much more important than that. To be an Everton fan is a metaphor for life much more dealing with defeat, which makes the highs all the sweeter.
