The epitome of Englishness and time that has past
What a department store – a one of a kind! Liberty evokes deep feelings of exotic fashion and elegance every time I enter its doors. Situated in the heart of London in one of the most beautiful Tudor buildings in England you find yourself in a labyrinth of stairs and rooms cocooned in dark woods and dimmed lighting surrounded by carefully chosen furnishings and cutting edge fashion. You feel the history of the store instantly and can imagine how it was when it first opened back in 1875. It represents the epitome of Englishness and time that has past blended with everything that is now. I love Liberty – oh so different than Selfridges and Harrods. Wherever I reside I will always come back.
