Mikimoto Pearls

  • I couldn't dive for the pearls myself so...

Years ago when I was married to my late husband, he gave me a set of Mikimoto pearl earrings and said "I couldn't dive for the pearls myself so I bought you Mikimoto. It's luster represents my undying love for you". Little did I know that he would pass away so soon of a heart attack. Now, every time I wear my earrings they get more lustrous, not only does it put a smile on my face, but I remember the day he gave them to me and the many happy memories that go with it.

  • Their true value is in the history

I have a set of Mikimoto pearls that are extremely precious to me. They were given to me by my Grandfather on the birth of my first child. Each pearl was individually selected by my Grandfather and strung together as a gift for my Grandmother on the birth of their first child, 70 years ago. They are really beautiful but their true value is in the history that goes with them and the memories they bring of my late Grandparents. I am honoured that they were passed on to me.

  • Cherished

I received my Mikimoto pearls as a gift from my boyfriend of 3 months back in 1986. Immediately I knew he was a keeper. What a romantic, luxurious gift for a man to give a woman. Forever associated in my mind with images of the beautiful Mrs Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and England's Queens. When I'm wearing them they remind me of my husband's love for me. I cherish them. I married this man and two children later, we remain very much in love!
