Sun-Maid raisins

I hope they never change the packaging!

As I child I think I enjoyed making the little Sunmaid box whistle more than eating the raisins themselves. We all grew up with the Californian 'Sunmaid raisins'. The artwork has been around since 1916 (long before my time) although I only know the slightly more stylised box that was updated in 1970. Sunmaid raisins were in all our lunchboxes and just miniture replicas of the larger box in the pantry. The bright red box with the sun behind the girl is an institution. I hope they never change the packaging!
