Fantasporto

In the end it's the people that matter

Fantasporto, or Fantas as most people call it is the Oporto International Film Festival. Once I was walking into the theatre talking to a German guy and he was telling me how weird it was that the theatre was almost full in a Monday at 23:00 PM. I told him that Fantas has a lot of die hard fans, like me, that take a two week vacation to be able to be there. I went to my seat and he went to the stage to present his new film. This kind of thing only happens in Fantas. There are a few things unique to this festival like The Wall, a paper covered wall were anybody write what they think about the movies. Sometimes we go there to mourn a bad movie sometimes to rejoice but in the end it's the people that matter.
