Bugbugs were the first pedicabs on the streets of Soho, launched with 6 vehicles in 1999. The company is a not for profit, with any profit going towards job creation, especially in marginalised communities, and environmental improvements in the heart of London. Bugbugs riders comes from all over the world and all backgrounds, united in their belief that the west end is a better place for these low pollution, user friendly, 100% fun forms of transport. They've fought off intense criticism born of ignorance, not to mention endless legal battles with the black cab drivers. They are here to stay and you've got to love them, all 160 of them!
