  • Love his style and stories

Terry Pratchett is one of the most imaginative writers I have read. Coming from someone who majored in English Literature, that is high praise indeed. I love his style and his stories. While the Discworld novels are his staple, I also like the stories that deviate. Good Omens has been a book I recommend to everyone who is looking for a good laugh and an introduction to Pratchett's works (who isn't necessarily "into" fantasy). I have to say that "The Hogfather" is my favorite read - Death is my favorite character - with "Mort" (the first Pratchett I read) a close second.

  • One of the most elaborate

Terry Pratchett's fantasy world, Discworld, floating through its universe on the back of the great Star Turtle A'Tuin, is one of the most elaborate there is. It's the place where a detailed social system, loveable characters and fierce action meets. Talking with fellow readers about the 'Disc' is like "My Perfect Holiday" in grammar school - it just becomes a part of you.
