  • I knew I needed the right social outlet...

I recently moved to a huge city – one where you can feel lost almost instantaneously. I knew I needed the right social outlet, and found WAKA while searching online. I joined a team not knowing anyone; had a fabulous time reliving my childhood and have met all sorts of people! WAKA has something to offer for everyone and that’s why it’s my Lovemark!

  • Supporting charities

WAKA Kickball is not only a fantastic and fun organization, they show their "lovemark" throughout the community by supporting charities. They recently helped our school raise over $10,000 by holding a WAKA sponsored adult kickball tournament. We continue to receive the highest compliments on the tournament and the WAKA organization.

  • The "thump"

There's something magical about the "thump" that the red rubber ball makes as it leaves your foot. Memories flood back and worries fade away.

  • Fun people

After graduating from college I found myself thrown into a world with limited social activities. Sure I could always go to a bar or club, but meeting like-minded, fun people turned out to be much harder than expected. There was a social interactivity and commonality in college that was missing in “the real world.” And then I found WAKA Kickball – it single-handedly saved my social life. WAKA is truly the answer to my prayers - I could not have asked for a better organization and fun people. We play kickball, socialize after the games, and even throw events together. WAKA players are the nicest bunch of people I’ve found which is why I've been with it for 4 years now! Next year I'll have been playing longer than I was enrolled in college. WAKA’s definitely my Lovemark!
