Work illuminates perfection
Edward Weston is a master of photography, and is renowned as one of the greatest photographers of 20th century photography. His photographs have influenced photographers around the world for 50 years; include natural landscapes, and forms, such as peppers, shells, and rocks. Weston eliminates the theory of "happy accidents" from his work, a striving which I, as a photographer, agree with. His work illuminates perfection. Whether it's a shell, a pepper, or a nude figure, these simple objects became forms of poetry, and the sculptural details in his images are sensuously precise, and undeniably beautiful.
