Aamir Khan, the words are synonynous with quality, excellence, innovation, uniqueness and perfection. A consummate actor, performs roles of various shades...he's versatality personified! I have been his fan since childhood!! The cute charming lover boy of Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, the starry eyed silly boy of Andaz Apna Apna, the college romeo of Dil, the struggling journalist of Dil Hai Ki Maanta Nahin, the adorable Raja Hindustani, the lovable Munna of Rangeela, the righteous police officer of Sarfarosh, the resolute Bhuvan of Lagaan, the rebellious DJ of the cult classic Rang De Basanti, the compassionate Nikumbh Sir of Taare Zameen Par and of course, the Macho Hunk of Ghajini!! Just some of the myriad shades of the powerhouse of talent AAMIR KHAN!! The creative genius and a master of his craft, the Ace of Bollywood - he's a favorite in my family! I usually don't like to go to a theatre to watch movies and always tend to wait for the DVD release or the TV premiere of a movie. But for Aamir Khan's movies, I just can't wait! After all, he does only one film in a year and one can't wait to see what the maestro has done in his new venture! I must say Aamir's one film is equal to others' 5 films! His one movie is enough to sweep all other 'hits of the year' under the rug! A successful producer (with an Oscar nominated Lagaan among other superhits), an awesome director (with a ravishing debut in Taare Zameen Par), a singer too (with the superhit 'Aye Kya Bolti Tu') and of course, an exceptionally talented and versatile actor - Aamir Khan is one man army!! I love you Aamir and wish you all the best in all your ventures!!

A master-marketer
Ah! The most hyped up guy around. He's nothing but a bag full of tricks, whether it's covering up incompetence in the name of retakes or inabilities in the name of search for perfection. Such a monotonous actor who only looks different in some of the films because of his clever use of new looks. He's a master-marketer, probably the best in Bollywood!

Only star of his kind
He is the only star of his kind. No one can reach his status of a serious actor/star. No superstar is as dedicated to his art as him. There is this star of the millenium i.e. Amitabh Bachchan; there is Shaharukh Khan, the badshah; then Salman, the poster-boy. Maybe they are more popular than Aamir, but they have not got Aamir's unique qualities. He is honest, he is straight-forward, he is very down-to-earth, a very real person (that too, even though he such a huge star!). He has his own set of rules while selecting a movie, while facing the media, while fiercely protecting his personal life. He gives 100% even to his ads. He carries his stardom very elegantly, yet very humbly. He is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. Many (seemingly) hate to love him or love to hate him, but I simply adore him.

Actors like Aamir are rare to find. His persona on screen is amazing. He can do any type of role and make it a hit. Look at Dil Chata Hai, the recent Rang De Basanti, and the Oscar nominated Lagaan. He is also very smart in doing one film a year. The less films, the more excited we are when one is about to release.
