  • Well worth it!

This car [Prius] is the most fun I have had since my first car!!! (Twenty-five years ago). I have had two entirely trouble free years! It is such a joy to be less dependent on petroleum. With gasoline and food costing more, and the uncertainty in the economy, it is such a joy to have a thrifty dependable car that is so comfortable and quiet! It cost a little more (had to pay full sticker price) and I did have to wait to get exactly what I wanted (three months), and yet I would gladly do it again! Well worth it!

  • The future looks hopeful and clean

I love my Toyota Prius. There’s truly no other vehicle I want to drive. When I bought my car in 2004, I felt the embrace of the Prius community. Like-minded owners drove past and waved, as if to say, “Hey, you’ve got one too! A goofy-looking car from the future that gets 50 miles per gallon!” I can’t imagine living without my Prius. In fact, I cringe when I have to sit in the passenger seat. My husband hasn’t quite mastered the mileage-boosting engine feathering technique…My Prius makes me feel like an agent for change - innovative technology that makes me breath a little easier. It allows me to save at the pump, save the planet and save time as I pass you in the carpool lane. The future looks hopeful and clean.

  • Sweep me off my feet

Good ol’ Toyota...I can always count on you and so can my family! I remember all those trips we’ve been on, from the east coast to the west you were always by my side to sweep me off my feet and take me on a great adventure. My family has counted on you for 10+ and we still have an Avalon heading towards a 12th birthday and recently got a Corolla so we can continue on our journeys together.

  • One Toyota is happiness. Two Toyotas is bliss!

I have a Toyota Fortuner 4WD in Thailand (see My Heart Explodes With Happiness, in this section), but I am living in England some for the time now. I needed a car, so I bought a Toyota MR-2. It's silver, it's sleek, it has red seats, it looks like it was designed by a jet engineer. Nothing is there which is unnecessary; it's so simple, it's a design masterpiece. Driving through the Lake District, top down, summer evening... does it get any better? One Toyota is happiness. Two Toyotas is bliss!

  • You could love it too much

Yaris is a small hatchback car made by Toyota (I think its called something else in the States - if anyone knows what it is called please post it in here!). The advertising blurb says "You could love it too much" and I probably do as I have kept it longer than any car, and will probably buy another one after this one! So I think it deserves a lovemark! It also has my personal cherished numberplate NOR4H, which is my first name, given me for a birthday present by my partner John, so that makes it even more special!

  • The experience just keeps getting bett

I've loved other cars before, but looking back they were love/hate relationships with vehicles that would frustrate and disappoint. But with my Toyota Prius, I've found a soulmate. The experience just keeps getting better. Like a friend who always comes thru for you, always rises to the occasion, surprising you that there are things in life that are true, pure, perfect.

  • My heart explodes in happiness

This car: it's got everything. Mine is black, with black windows. Every time I see one in the street, I gasp - and then my heart explodes in happiness when I remember - I've got one! It's big, it's comfortable, it's a Toyota so it's utterly reliable. I've been everywhere in it - the four corners of Thailand, over mountains, crumbling roads, through rivers, and over the ridiculously potholed roads of Bangkok. When I leave Thailand, I'm taking nothing with me except this baby.

  • Lovemarking

Toyota's 30 second commercials have always been entertaining - no - more than that - they have been "Lovemarking" long before Kevin thought it up. One that sticks is the one where they go through the different parts of the car and someone friendly makes a happy comment, then it ends with this stern looking older guy who says "dadada and I can say what I want!!". But the one that almost alway brought tears to my eyes is the one which goes through the kiwi countryside taking pics of people in, outside, next to and just around there Toyotas and ends with an older Asian man who in broken English says something like: "I love being a kiwi".
