  • Every song to me has a real meaning...

U2 are without a doubt the most fantastic group ever. No other could be compared to them. Every song to me has a real meaning and takes me back to certain times and events in my life. I feel that passionate towards the boys and their music that I cannot skip to another song without first letting the one before play in its entirety, simply out of respect to them! I've a lot of time for them, and a lot of love.

  • Lyrics that inspire me

Great musicians, inspiring leaders and speakers, touching lyrics that inspire me to become a better person. Bono is a Saint. My life would have become tired out long ago without the inspiration of these people. Each concert experience is indescribable. For these 4 individuals to come out of such a religiously war-torn area and write such peaceful music, is something that has never been done.

  • They speak a global language

No band since the Beatles has produced musical melodies like these four talented craftsmen. Like dust in the wind, their music has tranformed with a changing society to stir passion and emotion in the people of our planet. They speak a global language of Love like no other.

  • People who stay together with such passion

To call them the greatest rock band in the world isn't a stretch as far as I'm concerned. See them in concert just once and you'll agree. When you have four talented people who stay together with such passion...you get incredible music. Bad...With or Without You...I Will Follow...Walk On...just a few of their excellent repertoire.

  • Masters of their craft

I fell in love with the music of U2 the first time I heard them 23yrs ago. From the velvety voice of Bono to the soul filling lyrics, they are an institution...the masters of their craft. When I was 11 my friend said they would be a 'one hit wonder' and I protested saying they would last the test of time. As the announcer on the Red Rocks concert said..."they aren't just a rock band...they are U2".

  • Bono quoted

Hearing the music was just the start. Seeing the videos helped a bit. But it wasn't until I had a chance to taste, smell and feel a full concert that I knew it was love. To quote Bono - "Love, love, love, luuuv, love, luuuuv, luuuuuv," (Track Four - Achtung Baby.)

  • Something that is bigger than I am

Everytime I hear a U2 song I feel like I'm a better person, like I've connected with something that is bigger than I am. The music is spiritual and it rocks. They don't bore you with sad songs about love, they lift you up and move you with them. Can't wait until the next album.

  • On stage and off

Driving 8 hours from North Carolina to Florida last week - I listened again to several U2 albums and finally a concert from L.A. I was singing and smiling and nodding. I was shaking my head and even crying. On stage and off - these guys are the greatest.

  • Work for the world

I admire Bono, the U2 singer so much - not just for his songs or his music work, I love him for his work for the world! For all his work to save the people infected with AIDS, his work in Amnesty International, and for his work on repayment of debt by poor countries, places like my own country.
