Not many will take the time to remember you

Most hearing aid companies will repair your broken aid. It’s an impersonal process that takes place by mail. Not many will invite you to drive down to their research facility and make sure you walk out their door in an hour with a brand new hearing aid, re-customized to all your original settings. Not many understand that for a hearing impaired user the loss of hearing, even temporarily, can be disorienting, upsetting, and unnerving. Certainly, not many will take the time to remember YOU as an individual. I once drove down for service on an aid with a friend of mine. A year later, my parents, doing me a favor, drove down for a different problem. The receptionist not only remembered and asked about me, but also similarly asked about my friend, with genuine concern. Oticon cares about me, this is why it’s my lovemark.
