Bonomo Turkish Taffy was first produced shortly after World War II in New York, USA. The candy is no longer in production.

Let's get our priorities straight.
Where oh where is the Bonomo banana Turkish taffy. I tried the French Chew and it was awful and they don’t even make banana. I also found the BTT website but nothing ever came of it. Who in the world do we have to contact to have our favorite candy returned to us. It’s just not fair. They can find specific genetic markers in DNA strands, find evidence of water on Mars but they can’t find banana Bonomo Turkish Taffy. People, let’s get our priorities straight.

Reminisce on the taste
I am 56 years old and I reminisce on the taste of Bonomo’s Turkish Taffy. It was really & truly my #1 favorite candy. 2007 is the year for love/lovers. Why not bring back a special package of Bonomo’s Turkish Taffy for all BTT Lovers. It would be a BIG HIT! I know I would buy 100’s.

Happy days
Bonomo’s - smack it and crack it. Strawberry, vanilla, banana, chocoltate. Pull it and stretch it. How about peanut butter kits. Chocolate, strawberry penny candy. Lick a maid, fizzi’s drop in water drink, snaps, chum gum hollyood bars. Big time, big pay. Bun bars, bubble gum cigars, flying saucer candys beads in side-candy lip sicks. Wax lips teeth-moustash-surprise balls - paper ball toys inside. Sour apple gum-tea. Berry-squeeze cups, sherbert. Happy days.

Bring back the joy of our childhood
I was just thinking about Bonomo's Turkish Taffy last night, when I decided to look for it on the internet. I still have fond memories of the banana and strawberry flavors. It's because of Bonomo that banana is my favorite flavor to this day. With all of us still craving this candy 50+ years since first tasting it, you would think that the M & M Mars company would get the hint. Bring back the joy of our childhood. I want my Bonomo Turkish Taffy!

Much to my dentist's undying gratitude, Bonomo's Turkish Taffy was my absolute favorite when I was growing up in Brooklyn NY. The comment on them coming back may or may not be true. They do have a website but it's dated 2003 and it says they are taking "advanced orders". The Shop Online link doesn't work as someone else mentioned but they list an e-mail address.

I am 61 years old and can still taste the candy
I have often thought about Bonomo's Turkish Taffy. My favorites were vanilla and strawberry but every once in a while I bought banana. I buy old candy at a cracker barell but always wish I would find Bonomo's. I really hope to try this candy again. I am 61 years old and can still taste the candy.

It will always be my favorite candy
I have mourned the passing of BTT for many years. I will never forget the taste and would love to have it again before I die. It will always be my favorite candy. There is no, I repeat no equivalent (not even French's Chewy Taffy). I hate to bust everyone's balloon, but I have been hearing about BTT coming back for 2 years. I think it's a total lie.

Love, love, love that Bonomo taffy
Love, love, love that Bonomo taffy. I remember the package of miniatures used to be sold in the movies. It had several flavors...including molasses, though I never liked that one.

Bonomo, Oh my Bonomo
Bonomo, Oh my Bonomo. So glad it is coming back. The 1960's, a beautiful Saturday afternoon, riding my bike with one hand and holding my Banana Bonomo Turkish Taffy in the other. What more could a girl ask for.

I haven't had one in 40 years
I can still taste the luxurious vanilla flavor as it lingered on your tongue for hours after finishing a Turkish Taffy bar. I haven't had one in 40 years, but I can still remember that taste, smell, and feel of it. I would give anything to taste one again. Vermont Country Store says that their French Taffy is the same, but I'm here to say that nothing compares to the original.
