Jeff Buckley
Singer and musician Jeff Buckley was born in California's Orange County in 1966 and died in a tragic drowning accident in Memphis on May 29, 1997. He received huge posthumous success with his rendition of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah.

Jeff Buckley's Grace Album started as a bit of a fizzer. I couldn't see what the fuss was, until one day like some kind of epiphany; I made a connection that has seen me buy copies of it to give to friends like born again Christians give Bibles to their heathen friends.
