    I really enjoyed the 'Pumpkins when they were together. I was able to see them live in August 1992 in Atlanta GA, touring for their album "Gish". Then a year later, a buddy of mine was able to bring them to his college in Birmingham, AL during their tour for "Siamese Dream". They were probably the best live band I have ever seen.

    To me the Smashing Pumpkins are a Lovemark. Every word and song points to the search to become the perfect man for the perfect woman. This search has inspired vast numbers of fans to follow - regardless of what happens next. The lure of fables, the idea of the perfect love, the idea of being able to share the quest for love and being able to see the effects of sharing it, makes the passion real.
