Not everybody loves Raymond. I for one hate Raymond and so do many other people I have talked to. Maybe it's New Zealand thing, it's so popular over in America, we just don't see to get it. So how is a winging, horny guy who can't seem to rid himself of his mother and tries to manipulate and decieve his wife in every episode funny? Please tell me! It's tried, boring and unfortunatly we here over in NZ have to suffer Raymond and his pathetic antics just because for some reason the show has won a few awards overseas.

His comic timing is absolutely brilliant
The chemistry between the ensemble cast is absolutely flawless. Patricia Heaton is one of the best comic actresses around, playing her character with absolute grace and precision, giving a new face to the sterotypical suburban sitcom housewife. Brad Garret, Doris Roberts and Peter Boyle are perfect their roles. What can I say about them that you don't get immediately just by watching their on screen magic? With such a great supporting cast, Ray Romano doesn't need to add much to the mix, but the addition of his comic timing is absolutely brilliant. One of the greatest sitcoms around, period.
