Summer date nights and family outings
It’s the very best ice-cream. I think that people don’t understand unless they have tasted the treat for themselves. Greater’s makes me think of summer date nights, and family outings. My family can be out at a nice restaurant with a huge dessert menu, and we will pass it up for a trip to Greaters!

They refuse to compromise on quality
Graeter's is the best ice cream on the planet. We used to frequent Graeter's in Columbus, Ohio when we lived there for five years in the early 90's. We just moved to Cincinnati in late 2005 and coming back to Graeter's was a highlight of the move. Some of the other comments about their chocolate chips are dead on. They have a consistency unlike any other chocolate, and some of the chips are about half the size of a golf ball. They refuse to compromise on quality.

Friends dont understand why I'd ship Icecream...
Graeters Ice Cream was a part of my childhood in Cincinnati. I now live on the west coast and hardly ever return. But, every now and then I am pleasantly surprised by a few pints in the mail. The taste brings back so many memories; like contests of who could find the biggest chip in their scoop. My friends on the west coast don't understand why someone would ship ice cream, but part of the fun is building new memories with them while sharing a pint of black raspberry chip. When I do get back to Cincy’ I love walking in to the Merriment shop and being flooded with the sweet smell of their confections, it makes me feel six all over again. Ice creams or Sodas, Graeters was part of being a little kid, and I cant wait to share it with my children some day.

Great memories and stories
Graeters Ice cream is the most delicious ice cream on the planet! I was first introduced to this brand about 12 years ago while in Cincinnati for a wedding for my husband's family. My in-laws have great memories and stories associated with this ice cream from their childhood and raising their children. When I enter the store, I can immediately imagine my husband at Graeters as a child with the retro decor. And don't forget about the product - the cream is the creamiest and the chocolate chunks are the highest quality dark chocolate I can find. Whenever I'm in the Ohio market I head for Graeters. Unfortunately I live about 500 miles from the closest location. I will be taking my 2 and a half year old daughter to Graeters the next time we're in Cincinnati so she can make her own Graeters memories!
