Once I started reading it I couldn't put it down
Yes. When I was younger, I read the first two Chicken Soup books that came out, but never had the desire to purchase another one since it all seemed to be about the same thing. I loved the inspiration aspect but I felt like I had read it all before. I was in Barnes and Noble one day with my little girl when I came across Chicken Soup for the Soul Magazine. I didn’t know what to expect really, but once I started reading it I couldn’t put it down. The magazine is really nothing like the books. It has the inspiration there, and the "feel good" stories, but it is never the same thing. It’s funny, something I didn’t expect, and it’s a women’s magazine that discusses topics that relates to my life.

THE best magazine for women!
I was thrilled when I first discovered this magazine. I felt that it was tapping into an area that so many Americans needed and that no other magazine has been able to fullfill. This is by far THE best magazine for women! I don’t know when the last time was I read EVERY single page including advertisements in a magazine! The inspirational stories and clever articles really make you think!

A breath of fresh air to the magazine industry!
My mother gave me a Chicken Soup book a while back and I wasn't a fan. So, she went back to the drawing board and bought me a subscription to Chicken Soup Magazine - and I loved it! It definitely has a younger feel than the books. It's very cool and hip. Finally a magazine for real people. I responded to one of their questions and actually saw MY NAME in the magazine. It is to Oprah Magazine what Rachel Ray is to Martha Stewart! A breath of fresh air to the magazine industry!

Soup was the catalyst
Chicken Soup for the Soul is a a vessel for life changing stories. These stories come from everyday people and touch on a part of your heart that many people forget is there. But what is even more special about the books is how they inspired me to dig out my own stories and rekindle the love and the laughter that I thought was long forgotten in my own life. When I first read "Chicken Soup for the Sister's Soul" I remembered so many of the funny times and tough times that my sister and I shared growing up. Chicken Soup was the catalyst that got me to revisit these memories.

Remarkable impact
The impact that Chicken Soup has had on, not only myself, but my friends and family as well is remarkable. Simple stories, simple ideas from everyday people that are "changing the world one story at a time."
