Shah Rukh Khan is the most versatile actor in Bollywood. He never claims to be a great actor but through his acting touches billions of lives. He did roles early in his career that others were scared to do. Movies like 'Darr' and 'Bazzigar' proved his talent. The timeless love story 'DDLG' has become the longest running Indian movie of all time, running for 13 years. Movies like 'Swades' and 'Chak De India' are inspirational and movies like 'Om Shanti Om' and 'RNBDJ' are great entertainment.

Shah Rukh makes movies both for the masses as well as classes. His acting has so much power that it touches people's hearts and therein lies the ability of this actor to connect with people of all ages. He is a self made man who struggled to reach where he is today. His hard work for more than 20 years has made him the biggest star and greatest actor in India. He is an inspiration to so many youngsters that through sheer hard work anything is attainable. Critics write him off as being over-hyped and over-rated but they themselves cannot explain how this man has been at the top for over a decade. It's through the support of billions of fans around the globe who love him. He has been a loyal husband and a great loving father. He misses his parents and is a very spiritual human being. He stands by his friends and respects his co-actors immensely. His love towards his fans makes him special and it is this trait that has endeared him to me. I love him for his movies, his persona, his loyalty, and the immense amount of love he spreads. I'll always pray for him. May God bless you with lots of happiness, sucess of good health Shah Rukh. Over-rated and hyped actor

The most over-rated and hyped actor in Indian cinema! Repetitive and hamming...he does the same stuff over and over again. Most of his movies (with a few exceptions like Chak De India and Swades) are old wine in a new bottle. He keeps comparing himself to senior actors like Amitabh Bachchan just to hog limelight. He leaves no opportunity to grab headlines! He usually copies and mimics other filmstars in his movies and then says he was 'paying a tribute' to them! All his movies are hits only due to major hype and publicity! I wish he does more versatile roles and does meaningful work, instead of doing the same old stuff and using cheap publicity tricks.

A complete role model

His energy, intelligence, charm and love for everyone has completely changed my perception of what a good human being should be like. He is the best actor in the whole world. Everything and beyond

Well its really hard to describe Shah Rukh. For me, he is everything and beyond. He is part of my life in a way. He brings so much joy into my life. To quote Vivek Oberoi, "Shahrukh Khan Is God". To quote something that was said in Veer Zaara but Rani "Are they human pretending to be God or are they God disguised as human?" I really don't know the answer to that but for me Shah Rukh is the best and I think that statement refer to Shah Rukh himself in real life because he is the only actor that bring lots and lots of joy into my life that I have to question myself....is this man for real? Is he human or god just came down here himself from heaven and put him here to do what he is doing. He is truly god's own child and I love him to death. For me Shah Rukh is the best and will always be the best and no one can come close to being like him. I love you Shah Rukh and may god bless you and your family so that you all can live to see many many many more years to come.

Never ceases to make me cry.

I was never a fan of Shah Khan until I saw Devdas. As with all Bollywood movies, it's a bit on the melodramatic side. However everytime I view it, it never ceases to make me cry.

More about popularity than acting

Shah Rukh Khan is the most ingratiating of actors Bollywood ever produced. He has marvelled at the superstardom of Rajesh Khanna but more so even about that thespian’s command of acting. Shah Rukh Khan is a popular actor throughout the masses of the world. Possibly the most popular India ever produced, but it is a dubious proposition as to whether he is the best and I think his success lies there. In the fact that he is impervious to approval and disapproval and simply does what is asked of him while puttting his individual stamp on it. Certainly he is charming , endearing and cute. His fans are bananas about him. I would love to see him act together with Rajesh Khanna in a movie. SRK is more about popularity than acting and the epidemic of his effectiveness in being that which all people desire is at a peak.

It’s 3 years since I saw you on German TV and at the Temptation in Germany. Now I have seen all your movies. I have seen a lot of other movies, with different actors too, but no one could touch me so as you do. Maybe because with them I don’t have the life experience which I have had with you 3 times.
