I am still a devoted fan...
I've listened to Depeche Mode since I was about 10 years old, at a time when my borther and I were buying tapes together. And I am actually very proud of having such a sense of quality at such a young age (what are today's ten-year olds listening to??). Though I do prefer the bands music pre-heavy-drugs-and-suicide-attempts (aka Songs of Faith and Devotion), I am still a devoted fan. DM created there own genre of music in my opinion, and no other band has been able to master this style.

A loyal fan
I've been a loyal fan of Depeche Mode since the 80's. They are the only band which I religiously buy albums from and attend their concerts everytime they are in Los Angeles. When I hear their music it always brings out certain emotions and feelings that no other band can.

They've hung with me
Depeche Mode is not just a band. It’s the music that has benchmarked all the most important moments in my life. David Gahan’s charismatic personality and Martin Gore’s soulful and insightful lyrics are what knocks me out of my seat every time. I’ve never missed a concert in the New York area since I was in high school. They’ve soothed me through heartaches and hung with me when I just want to mellow out. Next year, they’ll be the first song I dance with my new husband on our wedding.
