I'm anxious to return
Catalina Island is a place to go to be recharged. You certainly don't feel like you are still in the US. The quaint streets filled with great shops, rides around the island in a glass bottom boat and the enjoyment of nature warms your soul. It has been a few years since I visited and am anxious to return to this inspiring island.

Invigorating and nourishing
Catalina Island just published their new tag line, 'It's not just an island, it's another world'. Nothing could be closer to the truth. In the fast-paced life that my family and I live in LA, a trip over to Catalina on our boat is more invigorating and nourishing than any other experience I've had. It's only 1-1/2 hours from Marina del Rey and everytime my family and I go over there, we enjoy the nature, the charm and the relaxed pace of life we miss during our daily lives. We fish, boat, horeseback ride, play skeeball, miniature golf, and take in the beauty of the island. It's the best refreshing short journey my family and I could ever ask for.
