Like mechanical superheroes

I was suprised this wasn't on the list already. As well as being a world brand that has touched everyone Caterpillar products are, to me, like mechanical superheroes. They have helped build everything on this planet! They are always there, moving mountains, building bridges, dams, or subways, supplying power for whole cities and even saving people. They always seem to be quietly building things we take for granted everyday. I love spotting them in my daily travels. Whenever I see a digger or a dump truck or a dozer, I find myself staring in awe at their power and trying to figure out what they are making. My fondest memory of Caterpillar was during the Gulf war after the oil fields were set on fire. Nobody could figure out how to put the fires out and people thought they would have burnt until the oil was gone. Caterpillar came in with a few giant bulldozers and basically buried the burning pumps and stopped the massive pollution and loss of income for the people of Kuwait.
