I grew up with this!
I grew up with this product! I remember dad using it to shine his shoes for work and I would also use it to shine my school shoes. My sweetheart now uses it to make sure his shoes shine for the NZ Navy Band!

Overwhelmed by the smells
My father used to work for N.W.Stevens in Upper Symonds St, Auckland, New Zealand. One of the lines of this distribution company was Kiwi Shoe Polish. They manufactured it on site in Saint Benedicts Street. I have memories of going into the factory on cold winter mornings to warm up, until overwhelmed by the smells. I though then it was the only place in the world where Kiwi was made.

The best kind of brand recall
Probably one of the most recognisable shoe polish brands in the world. It began manufacture in 1906 by a Scotsman, William Ramsey, who decided to name the product after his New Zealander wife. Is it just me or am I not able to recall any other shoe polish brand? That should speak for itself.
