Their Jip and Janneke stuff are so Dutch
Hema has cool, cheap, well designed stuff. When I was living in Amsterdam I always shopped at Hema, H&M and Ikea. Their Jip and Janneke stuff are so Dutch. I wish they did online shopping.

I go in to feel at home
I often think that HEMA is the only constantly reliable factor in a constantly changing world. Even if I have nothing to buy, I go in to feel at home.

Although it takes a while to get there
I love HEMA. A Dutch department store that sells day to day stuff like towels and rubber boots. Always in a fresh, hip design and for more than reasonable prices. Although it takes a while to get there, I visit this shop once a week.
