The few amongst our times who know about cricket know that they are blessed with good fortune. For they have been blessed with God in the shape of a mortal - Sachin Tendulkar. For his ability to bring tears in his fans' eyes for his sublime skills, for his penchant for hitting the most unbelievable of shots, for his complete mastery over the game, for his dignified mannerisms on and off the field - and the sad realization that even he, God's gift to Cricket, will not be around forever, Sachin is and will remain one of a kind.
