Because...

Because she shook the advertising industry, which is trying to represent itself as economy generator, frontier, rebel and revolution bringer, that moves boundaries, creator of new values... and it's not then just a huge parasitic monster that uses science and art to manipulate people to produce new desires, to insert in people's heads banal and stupid concepts of happiness, as useful ground of consumer world view. But in their stupidity the VP's of that industry didn't understand her book, thinking it was a kind of critique of some aspects of that industry. No it's a critique of the political framework as a whole which cannot exist without it, together with wars, and exploitation. A critique of a system in which big corporations have more and more power and influence on society and no rensponsibility - which is violating the basics of democracy.
