Instant classic
Jimmy Buffett is a common man singing about life in the most uncommon way. Not only is his music highly entertaining in both energy and lyrics, but the entire culture that he has created around him is extraordinary. Parrot heads and Landsharks are the way to be! I have been listening to him since I was 10 years old. I went to my first concert at age 13. I've loved his music since I first heard 'Cheeseburger in Paradise' all the way until now when I've heard his songs time and time again. Instant classic and must have on all my music devices!

A Parrot Head for life
I first met Jimmy in Key West back just about the time A1A was released. He was singing at a birthday party of a friend of mine. I bought A1A and every album since. I spend my days on Radio Margaritaville. I am a Parrot Head for life.

Instead of being angry
I began listening to Jimmy back in 1975 when I worked at a drive-in movie theater in northern Minnesota. I would turn every speaker, on every speaker pole (about 200 of them), to full volume and listen to him sing about places with billowing trade winds, exotic people, and fun-filled times. After 25 years, I still repeat his lyrics when confronted by ridiculous people and situations. And, instead of being angry, I just smile. I have never belonged to any other fan club, have visited every Margaritaville store, and have spent my hard earned money to support his lifestyle. And, each summer, I look forward to the release of another album. Yep, I am loyal beyond reason, and proud of it.
