With every role...
I agree with everything that has been said!! With every role he undertakes whether it is a work-a-holic FBI agent, an abusive husband, bereaved fire-chief, drunken brother of Daphne Moon or the boss of a record store (there are sooo many more I could mention e.g.lantana, the custodian, chameleon, autumn in new york)he does so with an intensity which is admirable and highly respected. He can easily fit and adapt himself to any genre in any film, from comedy to hard hitting, emotional drama - he is an outstanding actor.

Not usually one to worship
I'm not usually one to worship celebrities, but Anthony LaPaglia is hands-down the best actor around. What this man can do with his eyes alone puts all other actors to shame. The fact that he appears to be a good guy on top of that makes me adore him. I will watch/ buy any movie he stars in. I save every photo of him I find, giving me a collection of thousands. It has become my life's goal to write a screenplay with the intent of working with him as the star of my film. What acting is about
Anthony LaPaglia is one of the greatest and most severely underrated actors around today. His ability to make a small gesture seem so meaningful is what acting is about. He has proven that you don't have to be traditionally good looking to make it as an actor.
