Inspired the writer in me
I heard about Nanowrimo from another site, and I thought - why not give it a go. So I did, and I completed the 50,000 word book. I am now on my second one!!! Nanowrimo inspired the writer in me.

Taking on the challenge
I just found this site the other day as recommended reading at one of my favorite author's blog. Very good under pressure, I decided to take on the challenge for the month of November, under a secret penname of course.

Not to write the great American novel
The community at www.nanowrimo.org is outstanding and unique in their mission to encourage others not to write the great American novel, rather to write whatever will transport them to 50,000 words and the ability to say "I've written a novel."

That book you've always talked about writing...
NaNoWriMo is an insane, intense, fun, and inspiring concept where once a year, people from around the world attempt to write a 50,000 word novel during the month of November. It's a great opportunity to take risks and write that book you've always talked about but was reluctant to try. Plus, you won't be alone; your fellow participants are there to share your pain, writer's block, and procrastination techniques.
