I love shopping on the Women for Women store! Knowing I'm consuming a product that isn't depleting the earth, its resources, and the women on it, but rather benefiting a woman's life and community throughout the world is incredible! I'm a loyal customer to those women, forever.

Nothing more satisfying
Women for Women has given me three new sisters in Africa. For less than a meal in a restaurant once a month, I can give a woman (and her family) hope for their future and support them in becoming self-supporting. There's nothing more satisfying to the soul!

A stranger who soon becomes her friend
Women for Women International is a network of women that helps families living in war-torn and disadvantaged parts of the world create healthy lives for themselves. Through small monthly donations a woman can sponsor another woman as she goes to school and starts her own business. Rather then being in debt to her government or powerful men in her community, she is given the skills and a small amount of seed money as a gift from a stranger who soon becomes her friend. The founder is a refugee of Iraq herself. She is an example of how someone, through small acts of kindness, can rise to become a community leader. Besides sponsorship, this website also has a store where handmade products from around the world can be bought (at a reasonable price that benefits the people who made them), and carries news on the countries that participate in this program.
