This man makes beautiful shoes. It is original in that he actually creates his own designs (where the typical shoe designer meerly chooses toebox + shaft + heel from a medley of designers), and is an extremely socially conscious manufacturer, to say nothing of the relative affordability of his shoes.

Shoes that are hard to resist
Fluevogs are the only shoes I know of that resist fatigue, chemical nasties and Satan. A brief look at their website will intrigue you and you can't help but wonder, "where have these shoes been all my life?" and maybe, "how can I get these people to be my friends?" Oh, yeah, and they are great looking shoes. Every time I wear any of mine, someone comes up to me and tells me their Fluevog love story. I can't imagine a world without them.

Wears its soul on the outside
Fluevogs are uncompromisingly funky and fresh and well-made. From its website to its footwear to its hard-to-find stores, the company wears its soul on the outside. If you own Fluevogs, you feel like you are on the inside of a really cool secret. They do make a few styles that just about anyone would wear, but for the most part, their shoes are for the bold. Fluevogs are like really loud, chopped out motorcycles for the feet! (And they don't break down!!)
