The experience was priceless
The only time I've been to Yellowstone was a late fall visit in 1995 on a road trip. We had bison/buffalo block the road on a few occasions. We saw the old 'burn' area from a previous forest fire there. We waited for a very long time for Old Faithful to erupt in spite of the fact that an early winter was coming on that year and we nearly froze while waiting. The added bonus was that the summer masses were gone and there was no traffic jams...with the exception of the bison milling around on the road from time to time. The park is beautiful and seemingly endless. The experience was priceless.

Everyone should go there
A jewel in the crown of the national park system. Everyone should go there. I had the opportunity to visit 3 times in the early 90's and remember the thrill of seeing the Geysers, the Moose, Bison, and other wildlife. It was also a treat watching how other people reacted, like the pile-up of cars when an Owl was sitting on a signpost. It is heartwarming to know that most people treasure the experience of nature.
