The Eindhoven Football Club PSV was founded on 31 August 1913, at the end of a large Philips sports festival marking the 100th anniversary of Dutch independence.

PSV 'Philips Sport Vereniging' - Eindhoven, Holland are the club all clubs dream of being; I'll tell you why; all the big stars play there before anywhere else! Romario, Ronaldo, Gullit, Van Nistelrooy, Jaap Stam , Kezman (good on ya Chelsea for getting him on the cheap) etc etc...at ten I was the ballboy, at 16 voted the best supporter, at 23 before moving to New Zealand they won a European Cup and the last game I saw there , was 11-1 . Thanx PSV, keep it up.
