Powell Peralta Skateboards

Just seemed right for some reason

As a small boy picking up the art of skateboarding I chose a Powell Peralta board as my first. It cost a little more but looked cool and seemed "right" for some reason. As a ventured out into the local park to join those much better than me I was terrified at being mocked for my ability. As I coasted into the mix of riders someone noticed and commented on my new board. I was instantly accepted and these bigger, better riders taught me a lot about riding and "going for it". The PP board was the common bond between skaters of all levels and ages and helped my friends and I usher in the next generation of riders with the knowledge from those before us. I never rode anything else.
