Seldom lets me down

I have been reading Doonesbury for over 25 years, and the strip seldom lets me down. Trudeau points out the follies and foibles of public figures on both the left and right, and generally does so with some empathy for the people involved. While he mocks people, he does not skewer them unless they truly deserve it. This comic strip is one of the most intelligent commentaries currently being written.
