  • There is no alternative

Without it, eggs, sausages and cheese burgers are nothing. There is no alternative to Heinz and I would make space in my bag to carry a bottle everywhere with me if I thought my favourite breakfast haunt might run out. Other ketchup brands don’t come close.

  • Richness of flavor

There simply is no equal to Heinz ketchup. No other ketchup matches the richness of flavor, the wonderfully thick consistency and the true joy that the classic Heinz bottle brings to any meal. When I go to a barbecue at a friend's house, I purchase a bottle and bring it along. Primarily because the lack of Heinz can literally reduce my pleasure in the outing, but also in case the hostess buys something else and I might convert her.

  • A super lovemark

Heinz Ketchup is a super lovemark, if there is such a thing. It has remained faithful to its core and to its mission of improving the flavor of comfort food including hotdogs and burgers. Next to salt and sugar, it has perhaps touched the most palates and tickled the most tastebuds of man in recent recent generations.

  • The are the football of the food world

Thinking back to my childhood (and even university) I have vivid recollections of friends coming over and me making them dishes such as beans on toast, baked potato cheese and beans, sausage chips and beans, etc. Even a culinary fool (me) can make a tasty snack involving beans. They are easy to use whilst being a dynamic ingredient. What’s more, everyone appreciates them as unpretentious. Heinz baked beans transcend social barriers, age groups, ethnic background, and religion. They are football of the food world.

  • Accept no substitute

Heinz tomato soup, accompanied by thick sliced brown bread and (real) butter. No problem in life is so big that it can not be eased by this comforting combination. Accept no substitute, it just won't do the job.

  • Yummy!

Heinz Macaroni Cheese is like a kind mother's embrace after a particularly bad break-up with a loved one. There is nothing on Earth to compare to it's homely warmth, creamy texture or endorphin-overload induced catalyst than a platter of warm, buttered toast covered with yummy Heinz Macaroni Cheese. Just remembering I have a cupboard full of tins at home makes me feel more at peace than knowing my loan will be in soon! I Love You, Maca!

  • An integral part of British everyday life

Heinz products are an integral part of British everyday life, something that Bates managed to sum up beautifully in a campaign a couple of years ago. Almost everyone I know can tell in an instant if that ketchup or if these baked beans are Heinz or not, and they feel positively insulted if they have been slipped an imposter.
