  • Really elegant

    I have a vintage Tupperware container at my desk. I use it every day as it contains my vitamins. It is really easy to use. It is translucent so I can see the contents and therefore be reminded to take my vitamins. You can stand it on its side and it rocks back and forth like a toy. It is really elegant for such a simple, inexpensive object (thrift shop, $1).

  • It is my best friend in the kitchen

    Can anyone really get excited about plastic? For me being excited about plastic is to love and cherish Tupperware. It is my best friend in the kitchen. It's not just the great shapes, the bright colours, the stackability and organisation it brings to a kitchen, it's confidently knowing that my food will be safe from any creepy crawlies forever!

  • Kitch-y cachet

    There is something inexplicably appealing to me about the bright colours, rounded corners, and wacky designs of Tupperware. All other food containers are just junky, plastic-y, toxic-leaching objects of distain in comparison. Tupperware actually makes me want to bring lunch to work instead of buying expensive store-bought lunches. I like the "kitch-y" cachet, but quite frankly the most appealing aspect is simply that they work, and keep leftover food from getting mouldy or rotten.
