Tasha Tudor
Tasha Tudor is a present-day children's author and illustrator who has lived most of her life in the manner of one living in the 19th century. She is one of the USA's best-known and beloved illustrators. Her first little story, Pumpkin Moonshine, was published in 1938.

A simpler, more gracious place in time
When I was a little girl, nothing soothed me like looking at A is for Annabelle, an alphabet book by Tasha Tudor. As I grew, I discovered a whole world of her books and her illustrations of children's classics. Tasha Tudor's art provides me with images from a simpler, more gracious place in time, in the world, and in my own heart.
