Passion, greed, money, power, status and fame... Heroes turn to villians, nobodies become Fearless Loyal idols. The good guy dies by getting shot by pirates... Our nation becomes a joke when our super-secret sail snaps in half like a toothpick... But what a spectacular High when we win... We crave to own the beautiful silver cup again. Just like Gollum, in the Lord of the Rings it's "Our Precious"... and we will walk through fire if it meant getting it back again to our City of Sails [Auckland]... New Zealand is obsessed with this race...This is beyond a lovemark...this is who we are...
