Every year ...
A great city. It's pretty, easy to get around, has a fantastic climate, and every year gets a little bit better than the one before. Quite distinct from other New Zealand cities and totally lovable with it.

Lots of reasons
What makes Christchurch a wonderful place? Lots of pets and families - lots of cafes - parks - malls - less smog .. and less people than a lot of other cities.

I have the world at my feet
I love this town! Where else in the world can I live right by the sea, hop out of bed and surf, calmly ride my bicycle into town without fighting the traffic, or choking in smog, and yet still be only an hour from some great snow skiing. Clean air, low density population, wonderful accessible civic amenities, culture ad infinitum, worldwide access through an effective transport hub, child-friendly, adult friendly, sailing, surfing, green outdoors, stylish living. I'm a fan! Kiwis compare themselves poorly with the rest of the world and Europe particularly and I beg to differ, as a Pom I can testify that they have everything here. I need never leave again and still I'll have the world at my feet.
