A man among boys on the court
I was humbled and impressed by Michael Jordon when, while attending 5-Star basketball camp as a high school player, I watched Michael and other High School All-Americans bus tables in the cafeteria during lunch then score more than 40 points in a half-hour scrimmage in the afternoon. Michael's team went on to win the camp championship under his leadership. Since that day, he has been a man among boys on the court in my mind and a role model that, despite his human imperfections, I can point my three sons to as an example of what can be achieved through hard work and dedication.
