Buffalo loves the underdog

Perhaps it is the long winters in Buffalo, or that Buffalonians love their city and will defend it against ridicule. Whatever it is, Buffalo loves the under-dog, and for no explainable reason, loves the Buffalo Bills. Year after year, Superbowl miss after Superbowl miss and you still see cars bearing Buffalo Bills bumper stickers or flags, people wearing Bills paraphernalia, and devoted fans everywhere you go. Last year I was at Patriots v. Bills game in the Patriots stadium and as the game went on (the bills were losing badly) and the day got warmer, people who had previously been wearing Patriots jackets took them off to unveil Bills sweatshirts and stories of their real love, the Buffalo Bills. That, to me, is a great example of a Lovemark!
