A true inspiration
Starck is a true inspiration: "98% of people’s lives are grey. Marketing tells us we are consumers, Television tells us we are observers. That we are nothing and no-one. Surrealism is a wake up machine, that you do exist, everyone of you, and I am just an Alarm Clock. Surrealism is poetry for modern day consumerism.” (Philippe Starck) Quotation from "Imagine... It’s the Surreal Thing" on BBC1. May 28th 2007

Un-replaceable
This year, Santa brought me an Oregon Scientific alarm clock, beautifully designed by Philippe Starck, that "projects" the current time on my bedroom's ceiling. Wow ! I never would have thought I (or my wife) could fall in love with an alarm clock ... (would you ?). Having the time always in sight, without having to push on a button, turn around or make the slightest movement ... is un-replaceable. Philippe Starck and Oregon Scientific have changed my life, I will never change my alarm clock again.
