Good music
Just love them! In my humble opinion, the best band in the world. Magical voice (years ago Fish, now Hogarth- i like them both :), fantastic Rothery's guitar and Mosley's drums and... well, I like their music and think those who don't know them are missing something important, beautiful or simply a piece of good music.

A class of their own
Marillion are great music. Still they are more than a rock band. Their philosophy is simple: music first, consequently they don't care about the music industry, trends, quick successes. Their music has continued to develop ever since their big hits (e.g. "kayleigh") in the 80's and they successfully coped with a dramatic change in their line-up which probably would have finished other bands off. They are extremely creative, independent, seemingly honest, approachable, down to earth personalities who know that their success is built upon their extremely loyal fanbase and it shows. marillion were able to finance the production of their last releases by asking their fans to preorder the album months in advance of the official release date. They are a class of their own.
